1st Annual FFA Alumni/Parent BBQ

On September 3, the Pierce FFA chapter and the local alumni hosted the first annual member/parent barbecue. The turnout was great with many new people that signed up to join the Pierce FFA alumni. The event provided the opportunity to introduce the various activities and events that the FFA participates in throughout the year. One new fundraising event for the alumni is a raffle of a Polaris 450 four-wheeler provided by The Off-road Company out of Columbus. The winner will be drawn at the annual FFA awards banquet. Our advisor Mr. Neal says he is encouraged with the turnout and the support of the community.
