Cheerleaders for 2019-2020 Selected

On Thursday, May 17, several PHS girls showed up to show their spirit, kicks, and jumps to achieve a spot on the 2019-2020 cheer team. After these tryouts, the cheerleading squad of 2019-2020 consists of 15 girls.
Incoming freshmen cheerleaders are Kaila Spieker and Alyssa Cederburg. Sophomore Alle Koehler and juniors Alexis Schnoor, Faith Lubischer, Kailey Marks, Kenzie Moeller, McKenna Shonka, and Shelby White will also be on the squad. Seniors will be Addison Johnson, Angelica Volquardsen, Jade Dickey, Maiya Baumann, Halle Ross, and Zoe Brenden.
Next year’s cheer sponsor, Crys Bauermeister, said, “I'm excited for the leadership we can bring to our school and the empowerment we can give to the girls in our school through leadership roles they will take.”
