The night started out with the opening welcome ceremony led by president Sydney Erickson. After the ceremony, a meal was served. While the dinner was happening, the members and their families were free to bid on silent auction baskets. The proceeds of the fundraising went to the Hinkel family to help the expense due to the damage from the recent flooding.

Next was the year in review slideshow. Following the slideshow was speaker Sydney Erickson, who spoke about how with hard work, anything can be achieved.

Next, the members were recognized for how many years that had been in FCCLA. After the awards were given out, the new officer installation began. The new officers for the 2019-2020 Pierce FCCLA chapter are Alexis Schnoor as the president, Sydney Erickson as the vice president, Alena Peters as secretary, Mason Sindelar and Lucas Gnat as treasurers, Mackenzie Richmond as public relations and Alexus Sindelar as special events chairperson. Lastly was the senior tribute and closing ceremony.

“I felt the banquet went well,” said FCCLA advisor Angie Brodersen.” Our attendance was up, and new faces filled the room. Our silent basket auction went well, and the proceeds will be going to a deserving family in Pierce.  As a whole, the year went quite well; highlights include District Leadership Conference in October, Community Memory Tree in December, District STAR Competition, as always candy grams, and State Leadership Conference.”
