Winter Royalty Candidates

The Pierce High student body voted on king and queen candidates for the annual Winter Royalty dance on Monday, January 7. For queen, the candidates are Janae Arens, Maggie Brahmer, Abbey Fuerhoff, Kayla Simmons, and Rhayna Waldner. King candidates are Kaleb Anderson, Dylan Delka, Ryder Fuchs, Isaac Lambrecht, and Jadon Magdanz.

 

Janae Arens is the daughter of Brian and Julie Arens. She has been on National Honor Society for three years, Girls Letter Club for three years, and student council for four years. Janae has been class president one year, along with being the National Honor Society president one year. She has also been the class vice-president for two years and student council vice-president one year. Janae has also been the class secretary and student council historian for one year. She has been in band for four years, drama for four years, speech for four years, and track for three years. She has been on the academic team for three years, and has been a peer tutor for two years. Janae has won four academic letters and has been on principal’s honor roll for four years. Janae is a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church where she has been attending Y-Disciple for four years.

 

Maggie Brahmer is the daughter of Mark and Carmen Brahmer. She is a four-year Girls Letter Club member, and she is currently the president of Girls Letter Club. She is a three-year student council member and is currently the secretary. She has been on National Honor Society for three years. She was also the vice president of her class her junior year. She has been in track for four years, basketball for four years, and volleyball for four years. She has been on principal’s honor roll for three years and counting. Maggie has been all-conference for both volleyball and basketball. She was all-state honorable mention in volleyball and basketball junior year, as well as her sophomore and senior year in volleyball. She also earned all-state second team in volleyball her senior year. Maggie is a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

 

Abbey Fuerhoff is the daughter of Sarah Fuerhoff and Dan Lauck. She has been in National Honor Society for two years and Girls Letter Club for four years. Abbey has also been in band for four years, where she does jazz band. She has been in track for four years, basketball for four years, and volleyball for four years. She has been on honor roll for one year and principal’s honor roll for two years, and she has been a peer tutor for four years. Abbey is a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

 

Kayla Simmons is the daughter of Kyle and Jenny Simmons. Kayla is a four-year Girls Letter Club member and was the treasurer her junior year. Kayla is a three-year student council member and is the president this year and served as treasurer her junior year. Her junior year, she was also class president. She has been in band for two years, basketball for four years, journalism for one year, and volleyball for four years. She was a peer tutor for one year, and has been on principal's honor roll for three years. She earned academic all-state three years and and academic letter for two years. She also earned all-state honorable mention for basketball her junior year and for volleyball her senior year. Kayla is a member of Grace Community Church.

 

Rhayna Waldner is the daughter Tim and Peg Waldner. She has been in FCA for three years, Girls Letter Club for four years, student council for one year, basketball for one year, track for four years, journalism for three years, and volleyball for four years. She is currently the vice-president of the Girls Letter Club. She has received two academic letters and has been on principal's honor roll for three years. She also earned all-state honorable mention in volleyball her senior year. Rhayna is a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church.

 

Kaleb Anderson is the son of Lisa and Chad Anderson. He has been on National Honor Society for three years, FCA for two years, and Boys Letter Club for four years. Kaleb has been in band four years, football four years, track three years, and basketball one year. He has been on honor for two years and principal’s honor roll for two years. Kaleb received all-district second and first team in football his junior and senior year, respectively, and all-state honorable mention his senior year. Kaleb is a member of United Methodist Church.

 

Dylan Delka is the son of Chris and Gaye Delka. Dylan has been in National Honor Society for two years, Boys Letter Club for four years, band for four years, drama for one year, track for four years, choir for two years, football for four years, and speech for four years. He has been on honor roll twice and principal’s honor roll once. He was a peer tutor for one year. He has received All-State Honorable Mention, and All-District 2nd Team in Football. Dylan is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Y Disciple Youth Group.

 

Ryder Fuchs is the son of Joe and Paula Fuchs. Ryder has been in Boys Letter Club for four years, football for four years, and wrestling for four years. Ryder has been on principal's honor roll for three years. He has earned all-conference in wrestling for two years and all-district for football two years. He also earned all-state honorable mention for football two year. Ryder also won state wrestling his junior year. Ryder is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

 

Isaac Lambrecht is the son of Jeff and Amy Lambrecht. He has been on National Honor Society for two years and Boys Letter Club for four years. Isaac has been in basketball for one year, football for one year, cross country three years, and track for four years. He has been on the academic team one year, honor roll four years, and principal’s honor roll three years. Isaac has earned two academic letters and made all conference cross country his junior and senior year. Isaac is a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

 

Jadon Magdanz is the son of Jeff Magdanz and Kelly Mittlestaedt. He has been in FCA for one year, Boys Letter Club for four years, band for two years, basketball for four years, track for four years, and football for four years. He was also all-district second team and all-state honorable mention his senior year in football. He has been on principal's honor roll for three years. He is a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

 

The king and queen will be crowned prior to the dance on Saturday, January 12.
