Intro to Business Students Receive Award

PHS’s Intro to Business class received an award on Thursday, December 20. The award is called Everfi’s Financial Education Offering.

The Everfi’s Financial Education Offering award encourages learners to make smart and informed financial decisions. To earn the award, the class had to complete nine modules through Everfi. They were modules on savings, banking, payment types, credit scores, higher education, renting vs. owning, insurances and taxes, consumer protection, and investing. In order to receive the award, the students had to get a 70% or higher on each module. The students had all of second term to complete these modules.

Teacher Greg Warneke said, “The modules correspond with topics we discuss in class. It reinforces financial literacy that they will face in the real world.”
