FFA, FCCLA Hold Annual Blood Drive
Pierce High’s FFA and FCCLA chapters aided the Red Cross at the annual blood drive held at PHS on Tuesday, December 11.
This year’s blood drive had an outstanding turnout of PHS students and staff and Pierce community members. A total of 66 donors gave 71 units of blood, including five people who donated doubles. One donor, William Kuhl, reached a donating milestone of ten gallons of blood during the drive.
FFA and FCCLA members organized the signup, registration, and setup for the blood drive and were sponsored by Mr. Matthew Neal and Mrs. Angie Brodersen throughout the process.
