Cross Country Team Runs Kearney Invite

The Pierce cross country team competed in the UNK Kearney Invitational on Monday, September 24. Overall the boys’ team placed eighth; there are not enough girls to make up a team.
Individually, for the boys, Mason Sindelar placed second with a time of 17:23. Cole Vogt placed 20th with a time of 18:13. Chris Efta placed 55th with a time of 19:10. Brock Bolling placed 84th with a time of 19:39. Carter Jensen placed 90th with a time of 19:42 and Colt Arnold placed 211th with a time of 21:56. For the girls, Alexus Sindelar placed second with a time of 20:06. Callie Arnold placed 16th in 21:12 and Bridget Raff placed 100th with a time of 24:39.
Coach Gary Shada said, “We performed very well. I was pleased with everything I saw in Kearney.”
The cross country team competed on Thursday, September 27 in Stanton. Their next meet is October 4 in O’Neill, the Mid-State Conference meet scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
