Girls’ Golf at Wayne

The Pierce girls’ golf team traveled to Wayne on Thursday, September 20 for their golf meet.
Individually, Sydney Erickson shot 89 and placed fourth. Samantha Svendsen shot a 91 and placed seventh. Rebecca Albrecht shot 121 and placed 38th. And Madi Hamm shot a 170 and placed 71st.
Coach Melinda Stelling said, “Sydney was one stroke off her personal best 18-hole round, and Sammi had her personal best 18-hole round! We will keep working this week to take some strokes off before conference and districts.”
The Lady Jays were in a triangular with Battle Creek and Elkhorn Valley Tuesday at Battle Creek, and the conference meet is Thursday, September 27 at Wayne, starting at 10:00 a.m.
