Cross Country Second At O’Neill

Pierce’s cross country team traveled to O’Neill for a meet on Friday, September 14 and finished second among the teams there.
For the varsity boys, Mason Sindelar ended with a placing of second and a time of 17:21. Cole Vogt finished in ninth place with a time of 18:31. Isaac Lambrecht finished with 19:08 for twelfth place. Brock Bolling got nineteenth with a time of 19:51, followed by Chris Efta with the time of 20:00. Carter Jensen took 32nd place with a time of 20:33. Dalton Haase ran the race, but his time and placing were not recorded.
For junior varsity, Colt Arnold finished with a time of 20:59 and placed first in his division.
For the girls, Alexus Sindelar placed second with a time of 20:49, and Callie Arnold finished sixth with a time of 22:09.
Coach Gary Shada said the team needs to fix some of their errors, commenting, “We just need to try to run better team race. We have too big of a gap between our runners and need to try to close that gap.”
