Golf Team Members Place at Wayne

The girls’ golf team traveled to Wayne for their second golf meet of the season on Friday, August 24.
With the top varsity performance for the Lady Jays, Sydney Erickson shot a 96 and placed 7th. In 8th place at the meet was Samantha Svendsen with a 98. With a 103, Rebecca Albrecht placed 12th. On the JV team was Madisyn Hamm, who shot a 143.
Coach Melinda Stelling said, “All the girls medalled and improved their scores from the last meet. Overall, I’m very pleased their improvement of scores, and they worked hard to get better.”
The next girls’ golf meet is Thursday, August 30, at West Holt.
