Recycled Junk Creatures
Mrs. Fehringer’s 3rd grade reading group is reading a variety of stories this week about preserving nature’s resources. We watched videos about recycling paper, glass, and plastic. The students also looked at art made by three artists. These artists made art projects from recycled metal, plastic bottles, and computer circuit boards. Each student was then required to make their own “Recycled Junk Creature” at home. They could use any “junk” they found to create an imaginary person, animal, or thing. The students made some outstanding creatures out of all kinds of junk. Take a look at our “Recycled Junk Creatures.”
