Quiz Bowl Competes in KTCH Competition

The Pierce High quiz bowl team competed in the second round of the KTCH competition Monday, February 12, against Winnebago. Pierce came up short 1-2.
The quiz bowl team consisted of Taylor Oestreich, Katrina Meier, Jakob Meier, and alternate Abigail White. Their next competition will be at Northeast Community College on March 21 for the Northeast Scholastic quiz bowl.
Quiz bowl sponsor Crys Bauermeister is looking forward to their upcoming competitions. She said, “I get to take some of our brightest students in certain subject areas. I get to take some of the brightest students in quiz bowl to showcase their knowledge and represent Pierce High School.”
