P.A.T.S Provide Fruit for Red Ribbon Week
P.A.T.S kicked off Red Ribbon Week at Pierce Elementary with a variety of fresh fruit including apples, red grapes, and bananas. All the children grades PreK-6 and faculty came to the fruit buffet to choose something healthy. The day's theme for Red Ribbon Week was “Get Fit by Making Healthy Eating Choices.” An estimated 375 pieces of fruit were put out, with only a few bananas left. P.A.T.S. was able to purchase all the fruit from Hometown Market. Thanks to Sarah Schwartz & Clay White for washing the fruit and bagging the grapes.
