Homecoming Candidates Announced

Pierce High’s Girls and Boys Letter Club members have selected Homecoming candidates. Brenna Collison, Annie Johnson, Maci Kroupa, and Sidney Zimmerer were voted for the queen candidates. Collin Tinker, Braydan Waldner, Ashton Wragge, and Cody Yawn were selected as the king candidates.
Brenna Collison is the daughter of Brooke and Ryan Collison. She has been in Letter Club for four years, FCA for four years, and student council for one year. Brenna was in band for one year, track for three years, basketball for four years, volleyball for four years, and has been on honor roll for two years.
Collin Tinker is the son of Mike and Kathy Tinker. Collin has been in FFA for four years, National Honor Society for three years, and Letter Club for four years. He was the FFA secretary for two years and the FFA sentinel for one year. He was in basketball for one year, wrestling for one year, football for four years, and track for four years. He qualified for the state track meet two years. Collin has been on honor roll for three years and principal's honor roll for three years. He was all-district 2nd team for football for one year and all-state honorable mention for football one year. Collin is involved with his youth group at Zion Lutheran church where he teaches Sunday school.
Annie Johnson is the daughter of Doug and Stacy Johnson. She has been in National Honor Society for three years, FCA for four years, and student council for one year. She was class president her junior year and class secretary her sophomore year. Annie was in band for one year, basketball for one year, track for two years, journalism for two years, cheerleading for three years, and softball for four years. She has been on the academic team for one year and all-conference for softball one year. Annie has also earned academic all-state for two years and all-conference honorable mention one year. She earned an academic letter three years and has been on principal’s honor roll for three years. Annie is a member of Zion Lutheran church.
Braydan Waldner is the son of Tim and Peg Waldner. He has been involved in FCA for three years, Y- Disciple for one year, and Letter Club for four years. Braydan has been in basketball for four years, Track for four years, and football for one year. He has been on honor for four years, he was selected for all conference basketball his sophomore and junior year, and he earned all-state honorable mention for basketball his sophomore and junior years. He has qualified for the state track meet two years. Braydan is a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic church.
Maci Kroupa is the daughter of Mark and Michelle Kroupa. She has been on National Honor society for three years, Letter Club for four years, Y-Disciple for four years, and student council for four years. She was the class treasurer her freshman year, student council vice-president her sophomore year, and student council president her senior year. Maci was in basketball for two years, choir for one year, journalism for one year, track for four years, and volleyball for four years. She has been on academic team for two years, principal's honor roll for four years, and received an academic letter one year. Maci is a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic church.
Ashton Wragge is the son of Jeff Wragge and Angie Emerson. Ashton has been involved in FFA for four years, and he has been in Letter Club for four years. Ashton has been in basketball for one year and football for four years. Ashton is a member of the United Methodist church.
Sidney Zimmerer is the daughter of Judy Zimmerer and Dennis Zimmerer. She has been in FFA for one year, FCA for one year, Y-Disciple for two years, National Honor society for two years, letter club for four years, and student council for four years. Sidney was the junior class vice president, student council treasurer her junior year, and student council secretary her senior year. She was in track for two years, basketball for four years, and volleyball for four years. Sidney has received an academic letter two years, been on principal’s honor roll four years, and earned academic all-state her junior year for basketball. Sidney is a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic church.
Cody Yawn is the son of DeeDee Yawn and Greg Unger. Cody has been in track for four years, football for four years, and wrestling for four years. He placed 4th at state wrestling his sophomore year. Cody is a member of Zion Lutheran church.
The Homecoming king and queen will be announced at coronation following the football game against O’Neill on Friday, October 6, in the high school gym.
