Cross Country Competes in Yankton Invite

The varsity and junior high cross country teams traveled to Yankton on Thursday, September 21.
Individual placements for the varsity boys’ 5K race were as follows: Mason Sindelar placed 2nd with a time of 17:41.15. Cole Vogt came in close behind Sindelar with 3rd place and a time of 18:03.81. Isaac Lambrecht got 4th place with a time of 18:07.78. Ian Fischer placed 7th in 18:17.28, Miles Garcia came in 11th place with a time of 19:25.06, and Colt Arnold finished 18th with a time of 20:54.44.
For the varsity girls’ division, Bridget Raff received 15th place with a time of 25:29.27 in the 5K race.
In the girls’ middle school 3200-meter race, Alexus Sindelar received 1st place with a time of 13:14.48. Callie Arnold was a close 2nd with a time of 14:03.77. Addison Sporleder finished in 19th place with a time of 17:19.67, and Ciara Garcia got 21st with a time of 17:28.30.
The next cross country meet will be held on Thursday, September 28, at Stanton.
