Jays Golf in Districts, Two Qualify for State

On Monday, May 15, the Pierce High varsity boys’ golf team competed at Hartington for district golf and finished in 5th with a 381. Both Dysen Roth and Kyle West qualified for the state meet
West finished the day with an 87 to place 9th, and Roth finished with an 88 in 10th place. Also competing at districts were Parker Baumann, who shot a 103; Ethan Blecher, who shot a 103; and Bryce Bierman, who shot a 121.
Roth and West will compete in the state meet on Tuesday, May 23, and Wednesday, May 24, at Meadowlark Hills Golf Course in Kearney.
