FFA Holds Work Auction

On March 28, 2017, the Pierce FFA chapter held their 59th Annual Work-A-Day Auction. Thirty-seven members and the advisor was sold. A total of $5,530 was raised for the chapter.
Eighth graders through seniors were sold. The eight grade class totaled $530 with the Travis Jensen selling the most at $120. Freshmen totaled $980 with Dalton Kumm raising the most at $180. $1,610 was raised by the sophomore class with Jakob Meier and Kendra Schulz tying for top dollar at $200. The junior class raised $1,410 with Tyler Unseld at top dollar for the class at $210. Finally, the senior class raised $750 with Austin Wickett as the highest at $220.
“I was impressed with how many people turned out. It reinforces what I’ve been saying about how much community support the FFA chapter has,” said advisor Matthew Neal.
