Pierce elementary students were given a few words of encouragement on Tuesday, February 28 when they walked into their classrooms. P.A.T.S. - Parents And Teachers for Students - presented an unexpected gift to each student to encourage them to keep up the hard work for the rest of the school year. Colorfully tagged bags contained a funky ‘high-five’ shaped hand highlighter, crazy mechanical pencil and a color changing eraser. Students were filled with excitement and smiles as they thanked their teachers and P.A.T.S. members for the items. P.A.T.S. is proud of the success the elementary students have had this year and wanted to spread a little sunshine for the last few months of school. P.A.T.S. wants to thank everyone for supporting this organization!
