Veterans Visit Mrs. Zimmer's 5th Grade Class
Mrs. Zimmer's 5th grade class has had some very special guests over the past few months. They have been eating dinner and planning special activities with some of the residents of the Norfolk Veteran's Home. We are so grateful for our veterans as they have been teaching us about what being a veteran means as well as what life was like when they grew up. Playing games, interviewing our guests, giving speeches about what they have learned, as well as some special music from Mr. Sindt are just a few of the activities we have done. In between visits we have been sending notes, pictures, and posters to our new friends. We are learning so much from these special people and are so honored to have them come to Pierce Elementary School.
