FCCLA Plans Community Memory Tree Ceremony

by Rose Graham, PR chairperson

The FCCLA and Pierce Chamber of Commerce will once again hold the annual Memory Tree Ceremony. This ceremony is held to honor the loved ones that have passed away in the community.

If you would like to join in the festivity, you can drop off an ornament at the Pierce Senior Center, Pierce Junior/Senior High School Office, Midwest Bank, Town and Country Insurance, or Pierce Public Library. Ornaments can be dropped off until the 28th of November. When dropping off the ornament, you will need to fill out a form stating whom the ornament is for and whether or not you would like to pick it up after the holidays on January 6, 2017.

The Memory Tree Ceremony will be right before the Lighted Parade downtown on December 2, in front of the Pierce Physical therapy window. The tree lighting ceremony will be held Friday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m. at Pierce Physical Therapy.
