Digital Citzenship School Certification
We are working towards becoming a Digital Citizenship certified school through Common Sense Media. Common Sense Media is the leading independent non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids thrive in a world of media and technology. This organization empowers parents, teachers, and policy makers by providing unbiased information, trusted advice, and innovative tools to help them harness the power of media and technology as a positive force in all kids’ lives. Common Sense Media helps families make smart media choices.
One resource available on Common Sense Media is Parent’s Concern and Parent’s Blog to help families understand and navigate the problems and possibilities of raising children in the digital age. We know that for parents and caregivers, cyberbullying and digital drama can be both confusing and worrying. Use these programs and resources to help empower you to better understand how cyberbullying and digital drama can affect your children and the larger community.
In partnership with Pierce Public Schools, help us raise a generation of kids who think critically, act responsibly, and interact positively in the digital world.
