Marching Season Ends on High Note

Marching Season Ends on High Note

by Ellie Peters

The Pride of the Bluejays Marching Band receive a superior rating on Saturday, October 22, when they headed to Kearney for the state competition. The band’s final rating was 68.6, just enough to earn the Division 1 Superior they had hoped for.

The band performed their show “Cirque du Soleil- La Nouba,” that consisted of “Distorted,” “Reve Rouge,” “A La Lune,” and “Urban.”

“It was definitely a poignant event being the seniors last, of many, high school marching performances,” said director Mike Sindt. “I am proud of their achievements and hard work this year, and this was a memorable way to end a fun and inspiring season.”

The Pride of the Bluejays ended the season with straight superiors.
