Choir Performs in O’Neill For Mid-States

The Pierce High choir students traveled to O’Neill for the Mid-State conference choral clinic in O’Neill on Monday, November 11.
All choir students from Pierce joined with singers from the other Mid-State conference schools to spend the entire day practicing their pieces for their concert later in the evening under the direction of Kurt Runestad, former director of Doane’s choral/vocal activities at Doane College. The entire group of Mid-State singers performed in the evening’s concert, and each school also performed their own individual song; Pierce performed “Can you Hear the Angels.”
“I was very proud of the way the students represented Pierce through their music,” said choir director Terri Haselhorst.
