PHS Holds Community Service Day
The staff and students at Pierce High worked in their annual Community Service Day on Wednesday, September 30.
Each student and staff member at the school participated in the day designed to show PHS’s appreciation for all the community does to support them. Everyone was split into groups to complete various jobs, including ditch and highway cleanup, cemetery maintenance, yard work for some residents of Pierce, cleanup of businesses around town, and some upkeep at the school itself.
“Community Service Day is an opportunity for our students and staff to give back to the community that supports us in many ways throughout the year,” said principal Mark Brahmer.
“As in past years, we always hope that we can help out those people who genuinely need the assistance. We were blessed with a beautiful morning, and a positive experience was enjoyed by everyone.”
