Friday, April 25, marked the night of a wonderful celebration held at PHS. FCCLA’s family night banquet was held for all members and their families to help celebrate the incoming officers, say goodbye to the old officers, and celebrate the year as a whole.
Family night kicked off after everyone settled while a dinner of chicken alfredo and breadsticks was served with a side of tea, lemonade, and water. Then a dessert of cake followed. This night was jam-packed full of activities both the members and their families could participate in. This included an FCCLA trivia game called Kahoot. This was for the members and their guests to team up against others to see who held the most FCCLA knowledge.
Family night is also the time where outstanding members were recognized and awards were handed out. Receiving the Summer Incentive Awards were members Brendon Acklie, Sydney Acklie, Desirea Druyor, Leslie Dohmen, Alyson Garcia, Courtney Hansen, Breane Hoffman, Ellie Peters, Ashley Pedersen, Shelby Ronspies, Cassandra Rinkel, Stephanie Rinkel, Sydney Slater and Mariah West.

Also taking place that night was the officer elect installation. This was following the candle lighting ceremony which symbolizes the eight purposes and responsibilities of FCCLA. There was also an end of the year slideshow along with a senior tribute slideshow. After it was all said and done the silent auction baskets were handed out, it was time to clean up and say goodbye.
