Chamber and FCCLA Prepare for Memory Tree Ceremony
The Pierce Chamber of Commerce, along with Pierce High’s FCCLA chapter, will once again be celebrating the holidays by remembering loved ones whom we have lost with the annual Memory Tree Ceremony.
To be a part of this celebration, you can drop off an ornament to hang on the tree at any one of the drop-off locations around Pierce. Please remember that your ornament be no bigger than 5” in diameter. The locations you can drop off your ornaments include Casey’s General Store, The Liquor Store, Elkhorn Valley Bank, and The Senior Center. To make sure your ornament makes it one the tree, you must drop it off by December 2. When you go to drop your ornament off, you will need to fill out a form stating whom the ornament is for and whether or not you want to pick it up after the holidays on January 6 of 2015.
The tree lighting ceremony is to be held on December 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the Memory Tree downtown. This is when all of the names to be honored will be called. The Chamber and FCCLA members hope to see you there.
