Pierce’s marching band is Class B, and they shared the field with thirty-one other schools, eleven of them Class B. The schools that were in Class B with Pierce were Bennington, Aurora, Minden, Syracuse, Platteview, Falls City, Ashland Greenwood, Wayne, Fort Calhoun, and Adams Central.
Director Mike Sindt said, “Their performance was their best performance they have done all season.” He went on to say, “Everyone was disappointed they didn’t get superior, but I am proud of the improvement they have shown in the past three contest they have participated in.”
