Dance Marathon To Be Held This Weekend

FCCLA, FFA and Student Council have organized a Dance Marathon fundraiser with all the proceeds going to Children’s Miracle Network and will be a celebratory send off for this years graduating senior class.  The date is Saturday, May 5th and it will be held at the White House.

Students grades 7 – 12 were asked to form teams or work as individuals to seek pledges for the dance marathon.  All participants will pay a $5.00 registration fee that will be used for prizes, snacks and other expenses related to the dance marathon. A wide variety of activities are planned for the students who get involved from dancing, karaoke, and games.   The members of the sponsoring organizations are very excited about this project and hope all students will get involved.

Due to a conflict with the scheduling and entertainment the community dinner will not be held this year. This required a change in schedule.  The dance event will now begin at 7:30pm instead of 9pm.  Click here to see the evening schedule: Dance Marathon Schedule

This fundraiser is for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital – St. Luke’s in Sioux City.  Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals.  The 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, pediatric research, and preventative education to help millions of children overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.  Your contribution goes to our local children’s Miracle Network hospital to help kids in our community.
