It's hard to believe that January is over already. You sure can't tell it's winter from the unseasonably warm weather we've been having. We even had a January fire drill.
During the month of February, the Student Council is again sponsoring the "Pennies for Patients" fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Nebraska. This is a very worthy project and our students traditionally do a great job of raising money for it.
Spring pictures will be taken on Tuesday, February 14. If you have a preschooler who does not attend our preschool and want to have his/her picture taken, please come to the Pierce Elementary Gym between 7:45-8:10 a.m. to participate. There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, February 17.
The P.A.T.S. cookie dough sales campaign will begin on Wednesday, February 15. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to benefit Pierce Elementary students.
