Pierce Cheerleaders Attend UCA Cheer Camp
The Pierce High School cheerleaders participated in the Universal Cheerleading Association Camp held at Norfolk Catholic Activity Center June 25th and 26th. Approximately 65 cheerleaders participated in the camp with a total of 8 high schools included. The PHS squad returned home with many trophies and ribbons, most notably a first place finish in the cheer division, a second place award for Home Pom Routine and a third place Extreme Routine finish. The cheerleaders were also honored with the Traditions Award which is given for inspiring others. Other individual awards given during camp were: Jump-Off Champion - Katie Lockee, Dancing Divas - Katie Lockee and Amy Venteicher, All-American Cheerleaders - Brittnay Spieker, Katie Lockee and Amy Venteicher.
