The student council has recently started a new recycling project at Pierce High School. Though the high school student council started this project, it is open to the whole community. There is a large bin with three sections located just to the west of the multi-purpose room at Pierce High School.
One of the sections in the bin is for number 2 plastic bottles like detergent bottles, milk jugs, shampoo bottles, margarine tubs, and juice bottles. Another section is for aluminum cans of all kinds. The last section is for number 1 plastic bottles such as pop bottles, water bottles, ketchup bottles, peanut butter containers, and cooking oil bottles.
Please support our community service project by recycling your items at the high school. Everyone in the community is strongly encouraged to bring all your recyclables to Pierce High School. All bottles you bring to recycle should be rinsed, have the labels removed, and have the caps taken off. Help the student council, the school, and our community by participating is this town-wide project.
