Roses For A Reason
Once again, Faith Regional's Carson Cancer Center is partnering with Affiliated Foods, Faith Regional Foundation and area schools to see Roses for a Reason. Pink roses will be pre-sold from August 16 through September 10, to benefit the Carson Cancer Center.
"We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer," said Pat Widner, coordinator of Roses for a Reason. "One in every eight women and one in 100 men will develop some form of breast cancer in their lives. Through the support of Roses for a Reason, we can help the Carson Cancer Center provide special touches for all of their patients. Every rose sold will help make a difference."
Cheer squads from Battle Creek, Madison, Pierce, Norfolk High and Norfolk Catholic High Schools and the dance squad from Lutheran High Northeast will be out in their communities selling roses through September 10.
