Teachers Receive Awards

Five Pierce teachers received conference sponsor-of-the-year awards last week. Each sponsor in the Mid-State Conference voted for another sponsor who, in his or her opinion, had worked very hard and deserved the award. The five Pierce teachers who received the most votes were Crystal Bauermeister for speech, Mark Brahmer for football, Connie Jessen for vocal music, Mike Emory for basketball, and Tom Martin for track.
The award was presented to the five teachers on May 2 at the Mid-State Conference spring awards banquet. Each sponsor of the year received a certificate and a lot of thank yous for his or her hard work.
