Congratulations to our girl and boy track teams on their outstanding performances yesterday.  The girls brought home a district championship and the boys were runner-up.  We had 12 girls and 8 boys qualifying for the state meet next week at Burke High School in Omaha.

Congratulations to the following seniors as they are the PEA Scholarship winners – Katie Polt and Jonathan Canaday.  Andrew Halsey is the alternate to both.

All boys in grades 8 – 11 that plan on going out for FB next year will have a meeting at 3:35 in room 506 immediately after school today.

There will be a One-Act meeting today at 3:40 in room 306 for all students in grades 7 – 11 who are interested.

All freshmen must pay their class dues to Mr. Nixon ($10.00) today.

The following students need to see one of the counselors today: Ashley Hoferer, Jordan Polt, R.J. Jonson, Schuyler Kaup, Jacob Siedschlag, and Nate Thun.

These cheerleaders must pay Jenna Tweedy $4.00 today:  Allison Hubert, Courtney Schultz, Courtney Krueger, Brittany Spieker, Marque Van Fleet, Brooke Larson, and Chelsea Henery.

All VB players are asked to make camp checks payable to Pierce High School.  Returning varsity girls may write one check for both camps.

The following cheerleaders still owe a camp deposit, camp form, and/or signed rules to Mrs. Baldwin before she will check you out:  Marque Van Fleet, and Chelsea Henery.

The following sophomores still owe $11.00 for class dues.  Pay Mrs. Zierke ASAP otherwise check out sheets will not be signed:  Alysha Anderson, Chris Cochran, and Kyle Eddy.

ALL STUDENTS MUST PAY THEIR lunch money and keep it current from now until the end of the year.

There will be a meeting for all cheerleaders next Monday at 3:35 in the board room.  ALL MUST ATTEND!!!!! 

The cheerleader and dance team picture will be taken right before the cheerleading meeting next Monday.  Please report to the library.

Non-state track qualifiers will have check in next Tuesday right after school in the gym.  Make sure everything is cleaned, dried and ready to be checked in.

All student athletes that will be using the weight room this summer must have your max outs completed by next Tuesday.

All boys in grades 8 – 11 who plan on going out for basketball next year will meet next Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. in room 307.

Next Tuesday all girls in grades in grades 8 – 11 that plan on going out for basketball next year will have a meeting in Mrs. Scheer’s room (406) at 7:15 a.m.

All girls in grades 8-11 that plan on going out for girls’ golf next fall will meet with Mrs. Dostal at 7:45 next Tuesday in room 202.

Any student interested in being in either Jazz choir or Swing choir next year please meet in the choir room next Wednesday at 7:25 a.m.

Please note that the Spring Activities Banquet will be held NEXT WEDNESDAY in the gym and not tonight. The meal will begin at 6:30 and the program starts at 7 p.m.  The following will be honored -  the Dance Team, Speech Team, Weightlifting, One-Act, Boys Golf, Track and Field, Booster Awards for all Seniors, Scholar Athletes of the year and Girl and Boy Athlete of the year.  Everyone is welcome to attend and we encourage all students being honored to attend so that you may receive your awards.

These students must turn in written notes for unexcused absences:  Kyli Kilcoin, Cassie Lueshen, and Dixie Sackville.
