Choir Sees Four Shadows

by Miko Ferry

May 01, 2008

Eight members of Pierce High’s choir and their instructor Mrs. Constance Jessen went to the Johnny Carson Theater on Wednesday, April 16 to see the group called “Four Shadow.” The group sings a cappella in songs such as, “Me and Julio Down in the  Schoolyard,” “Joy to the World,” “Walkin’ on Sunshine,” “Barbra Ann,” and many more.”

One of the highlights for the Pierce students was when the group chose Kayla Asmus as their advertiser, gave her a T- shirt, and brought her on stage. They sang “Isn’t She Lovely” to Kayla, who said, “The guy asked me to model a Four Shadow’s T-shirt. Then they asked me to go on stage with them, the base guy made me do the catwalk, then they sat me down and sang to me.”

The band “Four Shadow” is a group of four male singers from Minneapolis, Minnesota. They perform for crowds across the nation, over 150 shows a year in over 40 states for audiences of all ages and musical tastes. They use friendly humor and involve the whole crowd in their shows.
