Intramural Soccer To Begin

For the first time since the 2004-2005 school year, Pierce High School will be having intramural soccer. This year, twenty-one high school students signed up to play. There will four teams consisting of four players, and one team that has five. Both boys and girls will play on the teams.
Games will begin on Monday, April 28 at the high school soccer fields. The first game begins at 6 p.m. Other games will be played on May 1 and May 5. The tournament will be held on Thursday, May 8. All game evenings will begin at 6 p.m., and teams will rotate playing times.
This year, intramural soccer is being sponsored by Chad Miller, who works for Midwest Bank in Pierce.
Junior Jenna Tweedy said, āIām excited that intramural soccer is back, and it gives me something to do in my free time.ā
