The annual MORP dance was held for Pierce and Zion Junior High students on Saturday, April 12 from 8 to 11 p.m.
The MORP dance is always held on prom night, and in fact morp is simply prom spelled backwards. The MORP dance gives junior high students a fun activity to attend on the night of prom.
There was a one dollar admission to get into the dance, and roughly sixty students attended. Refreshments were available to purchase at the dance. The music was provided by class sponsor, Gary Shada, and the event was sponsored by Shada and Mike Emory.
