Senior Class Meeting Held

May 01, 2008
Seniors at Pierce High are making final preparations for their rapidly approaching graduation. Seniors had a meeting on Wednesday, April 16 with class sponsor Mr. Don Wood to discuss the requirements they must meet before graduation.
At this meeting, all seniors received their caps and gowns. Graduation information includes that seniors will have to take a breathalizer test before the ceremony on May 10. Seniors are required to be in the commons by 2:30 on this exciting day. To make sure that the ceremony goes smoothly, the seniors will have a half-hour rehearsal on Friday, May 2 at 1:40.
Seniors were reminded to check on scholarships with the guidance department now. And by May 2 the seniors need to have turned in a senior picture and profile to be published the week of graduation.
Seniors are required to pay a $36.50 fee before their checkout sheets will be signed because their class treasury does not contain funds enough to cover all graduation costs.
Each senior receives four reserved chair tickets, and bleacher seating at graduation will be on an order-of-arrival basis.
