Pierce Dances the Night Away

Lady Jays Win Against South Sioux

by McKenna Shonka   Pierce’s Lady Jays softball team traveled to South Sioux City and came back with an 18-6 win against the Cardinals on Saturday, September 15. In the first inning the Pierce Lady Jays scored two runs, and Sioux City was left with zero. Into the second inning the Lady Jays scored two runs , and Sioux City got on the board with one run. Golf Team Members Place at Plainview by Angelica Volquardsen   Pierce came home with the medalist as the girls’ golf team competed in Plainview on Saturday, September 15. Blue Jays Blow Away the Shamrocks

Cross Country Second At O’Neill

by Kailey Marks Pierce’s cross country team traveled to O’Neill for a meet on Friday, September 14 and finished second among the teams there. For the varsity boys, Mason Sindelar ended with a placing of second and a time of 17:21. Cole Vogt finished in ninth place with a time of 18:31. Isaac Lambrecht finished with 19:08 for twelfth place. JH Football Plays First Game of Season

by Tanner Kuper   Pierce’s junior high football teams played O’Neill at Pierce Tuesday, September 11, for their first games of the season. Pierce won both the 7th and 8th grade games. The final score of the 7th grade game was 20-8 with Pierce on top. Gavin Sullivan had a 65-yard touchdown run.
